Rick Majerus Named SLU Billikens Coach

By April 30, 2007 SLU No Comments

422-147. 15 Post season appearances.  That’s the career record of St. Louis University’s newest men’s basketball coach. Rick Majerus, was announced as head coach of the Saint Louis University Mens team by university president,  Fr. Lawrence Biondi, S.J. Friday.

Today Rick Majerus was well received by students and faculty. I’ll ask around to see what public opinion is on Rick Majerus on campus later on this week and during finals.  While the dismissal of Coach Brad Soderburg was a controversial move, if this improves the performance of the very talented SLU sports teams, this could very well be a lucrative move.
