Safari 3.0.2 For Windows

Not quite as bad as the intial release. I, along with others had no text on the initial release of Safari for Windows.  3.0.1 did not correct the issues.  The problem stemmed from the fonts.plist file that is buried in the program files directory.

Safari 3.0.2 is still buggy, and still has a font issue.  For example, certain text is gibberish, but for the most part, browsing on compatible sites ( is not one them; quirky errors abound intermittenly) is a pleasantly anti-aliased experience.

It looks a little bizarre on Windows Vista machines that use a completely different form of display, commonly referred to as “clear-type.”

It’s a still a beta, however.

Safari 3.0 for Windows and Macs can be downloaded here.
