Young Broadcasting to Auction off Stations on July 14

Nashville — Young Broadcasting, operators of KRON-TV in San Francisco, WBAY in Green Bay, and WKRN in Nashville will auction off its assets on July 14, reports Bonna Johnson of Gannett’s Tennessean newspaper. The auction for the New York-based company will happen in New York, company attorneys have said.

Young operates 10 television stations does not expect station operations to be restructured. The company listed total assets at about $574.6 million and total liabilities at around $980.4 million, according to court documents.
